Eleven years of buying houses in our own backyard
We started small — one house, our own savings, and a lot of learning on the fly. Eleven years later we've bought more than 125 homes, and every single one of them has been here in Hampton Roads. We've never bought a house in another market, and we don't plan to.
Along the way we figured out that this business isn't really about houses. Almost everyone who calls us is in the middle of something — an estate to settle, a deadline they didn't see coming, a property that's become heavier than it's worth. What they need is someone who will pick up the phone, tell them the truth, and follow through.
So that's how we built it. No national brand licensing our name, no investor network buying our leads, no rotating staff. When you work with us you're working with our family, and the houses we buy get fixed up and lived in by other families here.
